PCB FAQ for Manufacturing and Assembly

We offer highly competitive shipping rates via global carriers like DHL, FedEx, and UPS. While standard shipping fees apply to prototypes, free shipping is often available for bulk orders exceeding a certain value or weight. Contact our sales team for specific shipping terms.
PCB Quote and File Upload Questions
- Gerber Files: RS-274X (Standard)
- PCB Source Files: Altium Designer (.PcbDoc), PADS (.pcb), Protel (.pcb), Eagle (.brd)
- Other Formats: ODB++ and IPC-2581
- Specifications: A PDF drawing detailing board thickness, material, and surface finish requirements is highly recommended.
In addition to the PCB fabrication files, we require:
- BOM (Bill of Materials): Excel format (.xls or .csv) listing part numbers, descriptions, and quantities.
- Pick & Place File: Centroid file (.txt or .csv) containing component coordinates and rotation data.
- Assembly Drawing: PDF indicating component orientation and special instructions.
Yes! Before production begins, our engineering team performs a free DFM check on your files. We look for potential issues such as acid traps, slivers, or spacing violations. If we find any conflicts with your design, we will contact you immediately to suggest optimizations.
Quality Control and Testing Questions
- Certifications: ISO 9001, IATF 16949, UL, and RoHS.
- Standards: We manufacture according to IPC-A-600 Class 2 (Standard) and Class 3 (High Reliability) standards.
- Testing: Every board undergoes 100% Electrical Testing (E-Test/Flying Probe) and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI). For complex boards, we offer X-Ray inspection and Impedance testing.
We stand by our quality guarantee. If a defect is found that is due to our manufacturing process (and matches the approved Gerber files), we will remanufacture the boards at no cost or issue a full refund for the defective units.
PCBA Services & Components
Yes. PCBArise provides component sourcing support for turnkey PCB assembly projects. Our team can review BOM lists, check availability, suggest suitable alternatives, and support incoming quality inspection and traceability.
- Turnkey: We handle everything—PCB fabrication, component sourcing, and assembly. This is the most efficient method.
- Consignment (Labor-only): You send us the PCBs and all components, and we only perform the assembly labor.
Payment & Intellectual Property
We accept various payment methods for your convenience:
- Bank Transfer (T/T), Letter of Credit (L/C).
Absolutely. We respect your intellectual property (IP). We are willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to ensure your Gerber files and design data are never shared with third parties or used for any purpose other than your production.
