PCB Quality Control Process
Engineering Review and Material Inspection
Checklist:
- Gerber and drill file review
- Stack-up and controlled impedance review
- Minimum trace width and spacing check
- Via structure, annular ring, and copper balance check
- BOM verification and component risk review
- DFM / DFA feedback for fabrication and assembly
AOI, 3D SPI and X-Ray Inspection
AOI Inspection
Automated optical inspection helps detect soldering defects, missing components, polarity issues, and placement errors.
3D SPI
Solder paste inspection verifies paste volume, position, and consistency before SMT assembly.
X-Ray Inspection
X-Ray inspection is used for BGA, QFN, CSP, and hidden solder joints that cannot be checked visually.
Electrical Testing
Flying probe and electrical testing verify continuity and isolation for bare PCBs.
ICT / FCT Testing
In-circuit and functional testing help confirm electrical performance and product functionality.
Final Visual Inspection
Final inspection checks appearance, labeling, packaging, and shipment readiness before delivery.

Traceability & Process Control

Material Batch Tracking
Key PCB materials and production batches are recorded.

Component Lot Tracking
Important component lots can be tracked for turnkey assembly projects.

Inspection Records
Testing and inspection results are documented for quality review.

Corrective Action Support
Quality issues can be analyzed with production data when needed.
Certifications and Manufacturing Standards
Manufactured in certified facilities and controlled according to international quality, safety, environmental, and IPC standards.
PCBArise supports PCB and PCBA production through certified manufacturing facilities with established quality management, environmental control, and inspection systems. Our manufacturing operations are supported by certifications and compliance systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, UL.
Our products are manufactured and inspected according to customer specifications, RoHS and REACH requirements, and applicable IPC standards, including IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, and IPC Class 2 / Class 3 requirements when needed.
Certificates may vary by product type, manufacturing facility, and project requirements. Documentation is available upon request.
